DAMAGES IN ECONOMIC ACTIVITY IN THE AFTERMATH OF THE CHERNOBYL ACCIDENT
Damages in economic activity of the removal of consequences of the Chernobyl accident are characterized as a form of economic and legal responsibility. We analyzed its funstions, qualitative structure of damages and features for damages. Elimination of inconsistetencies is presented in the article as regards art. 224 and art. 225 of the Commercial Code of Ukraine of understanding of the lost benefits, lost earnings and revenues. Compensation under contracts with foreign contractors for execution of international technical assistance in this sphere is observed in the article.
