INTRODUCTION OF INTERACTIVE TEACHING METHODS – A PRIORITY OF THE NATIONAL SCHOOL OF JUDGES OF UKRAINE

 

The article is devoted to the development and modernization of judicial training and education. According to the author, for the training of highly qualified and highly moral personnel for the judging in Ukraine, judicial training and education must acquire continuous, timely respond to changes in the judicial practice, take into account the practice of international judicial institutions, in particular the European Court of Human Rights. To this end, the National School of Judges of Ukraine introduced new forms and methods of training, in particular: a gradual change from the classical forms of training to the interactive ones - workshops, conferences, scientific and practical seminars and continuous improvement of teaching methods.

The article focuses on the features of the development and introduction of workshops for judges and candidates for judicial positions, the methodological seminars on improving skills for judges-trainers on use of interactive teaching methods and the training of trainers on the example of specific training courses.
