Issues of the editorial and publishing activities of the National Judicial Service of Ukraine and, in particular, the publication of the journal "Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine" are regulated by the Rules of the National School of Judges of Ukraine.

The professional national scientific and practical legal magazine “Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” was founded by the National School of Judges of Ukraine in 2012.

By the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated September 29, 2014 № 1081 professional scientific and practical legal publication "The Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine" is included in the List of scientific professional publications of Ukraine, the results of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences may be published. In 2020, the journal confirmed its professionalism and received category "B" in accordance with the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 14.05.2020 № 627.

The target audience of the journal is candidates for the position of judge, judges, employees of the bodies of the justice system, prosecutor's offices, lawyers, practicing lawyers, teachers and students of law faculties of higher educational institutions and more.

The magazine is published four times a year and aims to inform readers about the development of the domestic justice system, scientific and methodological support of the activity of the courts, the High Qualifications Commission of Judges of Ukraine and the High Council of Justice, coverage of the activities of the National School of Judges of Ukraine.

The edition of "The Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine" is presented in international scientometric databases, repositories, search engines:

- National Library of Ukraine. VI Vernadsky (Ukraine);

- National bibliographic database "Ukrainika Scientific" (Ukraine);

- Google Scholar (USA).
