The journal “The Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” has once again been re-registered and has confirmed its professional standing in Category “B”

We are pleased to announce that further evidence of the compliance of the national scientific-practical and scientific-methodological legal journal “The Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” with high professional standards is that it has once again successfully undergone re-registration and, in accordance with Order No. 928, has been included in the List of Scientific and Professional Publications of Ukraine and assigned category “B” (Annex 14 to the Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine: List of scientific periodicals included in the List of Scientific and Professional Publications of Ukraine within the “Law” cluster, item 69, specialities 08, 09).

We would like to express our sincere thanks to the members of the editorial board of the journal “The Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine”, as well as to our authors!

The journal “The Word of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” became a specialist publication in 2014. By Order No. 1081 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 29 September 2014, the nationwide scientific-practical and scientific -methodological legal publication “Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” was included in the List of Ukrainian scientific and professional publications in which the results of doctoral and candidate of sciences theses may be published. Subsequently, the journal successfully underwent re-registration and, in accordance with Order No. 627 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 14 May 2020, was included in the List of Scientific Specialised Publications of Ukraine (category “B”).

                         The latest issue of the journal “Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” has been published
Issue No. 2 (55) 2026 of the specialized, nationwide scientific-practical and scientific-methodological legal publication “Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” has been published.
The lead article of this issue is a publication by Roman MOVCHAN, Doctor of Law and professor in the Department of Constitutional, International, and Criminal Law at Vasyl Stus Donetsk National University, titled “Selected Issues of Criminal Liability for Political Collaboration (Parts 5 and 6 of Article 1111 of the Criminal Code),” which analyzes theoretical and legal-practical approaches to: a) the classification of actions by voters who participated in illegal elections or referendums in the occupied territory; b) the interpretation of the phrase “active participation in events of a political nature” used in Part 6 of Article 1111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The article offers recommendations for resolving these classification issues and puts forward well-reasoned proposals for introducing relevant legislative changes.

We invite you to publish a research article in the fourth issue of 2026 of the specialist journal “Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine”

The National School of Judges of Ukraine invites interested parties to publish their own research articles in the specialist, nationwide scientific-practical and scientific-methodological legal journal “Slovo of the National School of Judges of Ukraine” (in accordance with Order No. 928 of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 11 June 2026, the journal has been included in the List of Academic Professional Publications of Ukraine in which the results of doctoral and candidate of sciences theses may be published).

Research articles must meet the criteria set out in the Procedure for Compiling the List of Ukrainian Scientific and Specialised Publications and the requirements of our journal.

Articles will be accepted for publication in the next issue of the journal until 15 October 2026.

Submissions for the current issue may close earlier if the issue reaches its capacity. All articles submitted after this date will automatically be carried over to the next issue.

The journal will be published in the first quarter of 2027.

Publication of articles is free of charge. Authors will also receive a complimentary copy of the issue free of charge.

The journal’s target audience comprises candidates for judicial office, judges, staff of court administrations and bodies within the justice system, the public prosecution service, the legal profession, practising lawyers, lecturers and others.

Articles of academic and practical value are accepted for publication, provided they contain an in-depth, independent analysis of contemporary issues relating to the development of legal scholarship, legislation and legal practice.
